It’s enough to confuse the most levelheaded of our girls. Coaching our daughters to grow and develop in ways that strengthen their internal sense of self and build their confidence is something parents can start at any age. But whether you started focusing on building resiliency and confidence when your daughters were young, or just began thinking about this aspect of parenting, focusing on confidence and esteem is particularly important during adolescence. The teen years can be very hard for girls. 8 Ways to Build Self Confidence & Belief in Yourself

One of the biggest reasons why people fail in life is because of a lack of self confidence.Without having self confidence and belief in yourself, you are very limited to how far you can go in life. Reason being, the first key to success is believing you can succeed. And that’s just the first step… the bare minimum requirement for you to even step up to the plate and take a swing at life.So if you don’t even have what it takes to step up to the plate, then the game is over before it starts. Unfortunately, this is how so many people are living today. This month, I explore Self-Confidence, perhaps the most important element of every athlete’s mental fitness. For the article The Mind of a Mentally Fit Pro, I asked pro cyclist Steven Cozza of Slipstream-Chipotle H3O about mental skills that have been challenging for him. He didn’t miss a beat:“Confidence Continue reading
