The Apprentice Star Nick Hewer: 'I'm Staggered By The Contestants …

The Apprentice is back for a highly anticipated series return and Lord Sugar’s right hand man Nick Hewer has claimed that he is “I’m staggered by the contestants’ self-confidence”.The Countdown host’s comments can only mean that this year’s series is sure to deliver yet another batch of seemingly arrogant entrepreneurs and businessmen.Whilst the new set of contestants all battle it out and prepare to stab each other in the back for the coveted £250,000 prize, Nick claims that he wasn’t as confident at their age.“It does require a surfeit of bravado in order to get involved in the first place. At their age I’d have run for the hills – I’d have been no good at all.” He said.Nick Hewer will be returning as Lord Alan Sugar’s right hand man this series (WENN)The popular reality series is due to kick off with a double episode next week.A fresh batch of 16 wannabes get set to put their careers and reputations at risk in order to take home the prize fund and a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with the Lord Sugar.Fans will be reassured to know that the show’s award-winning format will remain untouched as it returns for it’s ninth series.Nick continued: “The guys who came up with the format have got to be congratulated,” adding “There’s certainly a little bit of magic in there.”Nine series later and we’re still watching, must be magic! Be Awesome Today!

Today my second child is 5 years old. That’s him in the biggest photo, with the biggest smile, wrestling around with my Dad and Sister on a trip to CA last year. See him off to the right with his arms flung up, running full bore with abandon, giggling with glee? That’s my brilliant boy Ben!Ben leaps headfirst into everything, loving life, ready for action, can’t hold still for a second. Sometimes his focus on living in the moment leads to disaster…like when he snapped his glasses in half (twice) or this weekend when he managed to chip two of my husband’s teeth accidentally while literally CLIMBING THE WALLS (well, the doorways) of our home like Spider-man.
